outside b-pillar cover removal?

i can't seem to find any conclusive DIYs about how to remove the B-pillars on the W204. i found one PDF that someone did that is for window glass replacement but he removes a ton of things prior to that piece before getting to the inner stripping and the three screws concealed behind that so it's impossible to say what is required and what isn't.

anyone hiding something on this? haha

i want to get mine wrapped in 1080 film.

Would be so much easier to tape off the area and hit it with plasti dip and a glossifier coat.

I agree, plasti dip or wrap it. AZN_C300 wrapped his in CF and it's legit AF!

That's what I said in my first post, that I want to have them wrapped. I need to remove them to do that so I can send them to my wrap guy in Seattle.

Did AZN has it wrapped in CF? I saw his pic, look so glossy to be CF vinyl though. It looks like some clear epoxy of real CF. 3M 1080 CF surface isn't as glossy

nope, he has/had appliques.

HOWEVER, there is a realistic cf film out there that is very glossy. the dude i use in Seattle has been using it for a while with success. it's called Vvvid 4D or something.

though, i'm going to stick with 1080 because that is what i have on my spoiler. i opti-coat it and call it a day.

i just wish i knew for sure how these things come off without messing anything up or taking apart too many things.

This would be GREAT to have.
If someone comes along and posts something, we should definitely get it in the DIY thread ASAP...

... Not that I need to do it or anything... hahahaha!
