Hey everyone, Just picked up a new 2014 C300 4matic Sport in Iridium Silver this past week. First new car purchase and i'm loving every second of it. All my previous cars were BMW's and the benz in definitely the darkside.

I'm coming over from e46fanatics.com, So i'm very familiar with forum rules, politics and edict. I hope to share some info and get to meet some new folks around the NYC area at local meets.

I'm probably going the other way to BMW next time, first triggered by MB dropping the manual trans. What caused you to come this way?

Thanks, I needed something New. The BMW is a great car, still fun to drive. The benz is more refined and civil on the road. Plus I got a great deal at the dealership that I couldn't pass up on.

I've got a sedan on 7 spokes with a dashboard copilot as well. There don't seem to be too many with these wheels on here... even less with the copilot.

At first I was like "that's a pretty nice M3..." and then I realized it was a sedan! Nice e46! Any plans to mod the Merc? Congrats on the new car.

For now, just blacking out the chrome on the car & lighting. looking for a set of HIDs, But might fork up the $ for some Projects since the came with halogens. Womp! Then an exhaust come the summer time. nothing too crazy, subtle and clean mods.

You might be interested in these OEM bi-xenon replicas. Relatively new product, I'm waiting for someone to pop up and say they've bought and installed a set.

Nice buy! You've got two very nice sedans now..
I like the seven spokes.. Treat them nicely tho! I've got 18" AMG 5 spokes and they're 1400$ a pop to get new ones... I'm sure you know all about that with the e46 tho!

Congrats! You have a nice bimmer too.
Do they have multiple options for OE rear spoiler or just that one? Mine on pre facelift W204 looks a bit different (the part on top sticking to top trunk isn't that wide)

It depends on the car you get.

The C250 has a smaller lip - you can see it on my photo here (these new galleries are total crap IMO).

The C300 has the one above - tends to follow the curves of the trunk lid more

The C350 gets a larger version of what the C250 has.

Now, that said - no one knew anything about this when the facelift sedans first came out. I, as well as my sales consultant were under the impression my car would come with the spoiler that is now on the C300s. In hindsight, I think I like the C250 one better after living with it for a while.

When I was at the dealer a while back, there was a C250 in with the curved spoiler from the C300 on it though... so maybe this is all thrown out the window, and the spoiler depends on how much the workers had to drink at lunch?

Thanks, I'm babying the hell out of this car. I made sure to get the wheel/tire protection warranty at the dealer. $50 for a new tire/ $100 for a new rim.


We came to the darkside

lolz, it was Fat Tuesday. I went to Bourbon Street Bar & Grill in the city for Mardi Gras. Had some left over beads, so i decieded to just pop them on the mirror for the night. They were taken down the following morning,

Thanks, not to sure on the spoiler. I pretty much just drove the car off the showroom floor as is.

Not digging those spoilers. It looks good when looking low but not so much pleasing when looking at eye level because of the wide base. Maybe if it pokes a little more it would look nicer. The other version looks better to me.
