Ok so, I have an email address for the supplier. What is proper forum etiquette to share this info? PM or just post it?
I conducted my whole transaction via email when purchasing these headlights as there is no storefront.
The headlights are direct plug and play. I used the same wiring harness and plug that went to the original halogens - No modification whatsoever. The ballast is mounted underneath the housing just like the OEM xenons. There are no wires hanging outside of the housing. The bulbs are D1S phillips.
The low beam projector acts as both low/high beam in a dual setup. Cut off lines are spot on and activating the high beam does not trigger the cornering lights. Everything works as the standard xenon setup. Only real difference is the white LED bar and of course no active headlight features as there is no motor. The cornering lamps are not wired at all in this headlamp but do accept an H7 bulb.
I will take another video and post ASAP.
I purchased these a few months ago and paid $1200. Not sure if price has dropped as of recent.

There is a very high chance both headlights are from the same mfg. It sounds like one reseller is buying them and shoving ballasts into the housing, and fishcake is reselling the exact same headlight with the ballasts mounted externally if you choose the HID model. I doubt either one is more reliable than the other, and one is definitely not worth more than twice as much as the other.

Small difference and definitely not worth more than twice the amount.

I realize. It's very unlikely that there are two manufacturers, one that produces a model with a white LED bar, and one with a white and amber bar. It's more likely the same manufacturer produces the headlight with both an amber and white option for the LED bar. Then the HID installation is performed by the reseller. The reseller charging $1200 is simply gouging a new market while they can.

Headlights came today and installed! Left high beams on for 5-7 minutes and flashed a few times with no issues! I hope this is the last of it.
Also dipped my grille black while I had it off

@yacoub.alyacoub - I have not received a PM from you.
Headlights are still working great. White LEDs on lock/unlock produce plenty of light to help light path to and from car as well.
To all that would like supplier's email, Headlight Seller.
The video from above is Sonic Racing. I was about to buy a set from them, yet they were short on stock. They are D1S bulbs as well and come with ballasts ready to go. They may also have additional functionality of the corner bulbs maybe. They quoted me $1900 SGD.

You cant beat the ebay prices, thats for sure.
I did get a response from supplier, if I understood correctly, a group buy would be at about $1000 shipped each pair.

@JaredP, you are on point. No one wants to spend more than they have to. I would have for sure gotten the less expensive lights from eBay had they been available at time of purchase.
But I am satisfied with the results of my purchase so far. No issues and of course, i got rid of the damn halogens. I just shared my info with members and they can choose.

No one posted any headlights with a "Big ugly C".
There is no evidence that the $1100 headlights are any more reliable than the $400 pair.
The link you posted is probably the best deal on these headlights with HIDs preinstalled, if it has free shipping.

The parts4euro website is very likely run by Fishcake.
Look at the Item Description on eBay:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/DEPO-2012-2014-MERCEDES-W204-C-CLASS-AMG-LOOK-XENON-HID-PROJECTOR-LED-HEADLIGHT/151280806723?_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851&_trkparms=aid%3D222008%26algo%3DSIC.MOTORS%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D22466%26meid%3D6297008274614816523%26pid%3D100005%26prg%3D9735%26rk%3D2%26rkt%3D6%26sd%3D151280812557&rt=nc
Versus the Item description on the parts4euro website:

They are exactly the same.

Meanwhile, I believe then it's time to contact them and check the shipping rate to qatar.
I will keep you posted with the updates 470 is way better than 1100 dollars.
