2014 C350 with S65 Style Tips & C63 Diffuser
Well, I removed the quad round tip setup I had. It stuck out way too far and just wasn't the right look. I decided to order a set of S65 style tips (without any AMG logos) off of ebay. They arrived today and I just had them installed.
I'm SO MUCH HAPPIER with this look. 100x cleaner and still looks unique. There's no such thing as a C65, so I think the look isn't trying to be a C63 poser.
I tried searching for this on the forums, but apparently it's a somewhat rare mod. That said, it's basically exactly the same as the Meisterschaft exhaust tips. So, if you already liked that look, this is another way of doing it.

How come you didn't do this one? This was my first choice but got too good of a deal on the oval quads. But ya, youre new setup definitely looks better than your previous quads.

Thanks again. The round tips were an experiment that almost worked. I'm sure if I had more patience to tweak how far they stick out and spacing, then it could look better.
BTW, I picked this particular tip setup because of the y pipe behind the each tip channel. A lot of tips had a doglegged setup. It looked like those doglegged tips might have a bit more wheel well clearance and line up with the muffler exhaust port, but the inner tip would get 20% of the flow, if that. With these tips, the flow is equal and there's still clearance.
Additionally, i should point out that the quad round tip setup was actually louder and higher pitched. I believe it has to do with much more turbulence in the air passing through the piping for the tips. The y pipe is super smooth and the sound has less volume and a lower pitch. Also, above 5k the engine doesn't have the "raspy scream" that it used to with the quad round tips.

They were $185 plus $50 to ship them from Taiwan.

wow those actually look way better than the c63 tips. I was going to change my tips and diffuser to the c63 version but I like those s65 tips way more. So you had no problem fitting the tips in the c63 diffuser?
