Putting 19" OEM C63 wheels on my C

Finally getting the wheels I always wanted on my C..

http://optmbr.ru/images/product_imag...ages/134_0.jpg
The dimensions are
2x 8J x 19 ET 45 LK. 5x112
2x 9J x 19 ET 54

But I have a question, what tyres can I go for, front/rear?

The rubber will be Michelin PSS, I'm thinking will these dimensions fit:
front: 235/35/19
rear: 265/30/19

? Or is 265 too wide, should I go for the default 255/30/19 on the rear?

(stock suspension)

Spec_Davis 06-08-2014 03:10 PM

265 you will rub just go with 255/35/19

Karem 06-08-2014 03:18 PM

thx. isnt it 255/30/19 or is it 255/35/19 ? Im looking here http://www.sizemytires.com/make/mercedes-benz/c63-amg

and is the front correct 235/35/19
(just to clarify -> im ordering the tyres so i can receive them at the same time as the wheels)

my setup i have D2 coilovers installed with 2 finger gaps front and rear. Wheels: 19' Euro C63 Front 235/35/19 and Rear 255/35/19. Full load with 4 passengers no rubbing at all. the size is right and it tucks in perfectly. I am on Bridgestone Potenza's

sunessence 06-08-2014 04:13 PM

I have Väth rims in 8,5x19 (offset 45) 235/35/19 and 9,5 (offset 45) 255/30/19 (the best combination for tyres)

Odd....this seems to go against the many posts in the wheel/tire section.

I have been looking into this setup as well. The vendor recommended going with 235/35/19 and 265/30/19.

I'd prefer to use the 255/35 so i can get the tires that i want (Nitto Motivo).... Does anyone have any thoughts on which size is the best fit for this rim?

I have 255/30/19 all around and it rubs like no other. IMO theres no beating the rub. Its the price you have to pay to look good. Just go slow on turns and minimize the rubbing.

Absolutely no rubbing with my set... What's the offset of your rims ?

I think you'll find that the correct size is 255/30/19 to preserve the OEM gear ratio for the final drive. The 35 profile is too tall and will give incorrect mph readings. Just my view from past experiences.....:zoom:

Ive never understood what offset is, can you explain? Idk what mine is. I put new springs on and slapped the new wheels on.

You'll be fine with fronts 235/35/19 and rear 265/30/19. Thats exactly what I'm running and I'm dropped on H&R SS with 5mm spring pads, 5mm spacers on the rear and zero finger gap on all four corners. Rims are 19x8.5 ET43 19x9.5 ET53. Absolutely no rubbing with or without passengers. I am flush.

Your dimensions are very similar to my setup (excluding suspension), you should be fine. Those who run 265 on rears and are having issues with rubbing are not running the correct offsets needed for proper fitment.
