2011 W204 Block heater location
I'm trying to discern if my 2011 W204 C350 has a block heater already installed, could someone please explain to me where to look (pictures would help a lot)
I already searched for the cord with the plug on it and didn't find anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated. PS: I love this forum, been a lurker for years. |
Ditto. Going to jack up my car in the shop today or tomorrow and have a good look. will post pics when I find.

Found the plug. Had to take the shroud off the bottom to locate it. You can see the brass plug on the aluminum Y branch that Joins the rad hose. The plastic cap is just hand tight. The cord was 45$ cdn at the dealership. Will post a pic after I've run the cord.

My 2014 C300 with the M276 engine does not have the block heater installed at a Y joint in the radiator hose (I'm in the US so it does not come standard). In fact, I cannot locate a block heater part as an option for this M276 engine at all online. Do any of you Canadian folks with the 2013 or 2014 V6 engine (the M276) have one installed from the dealer? If so, location? I have done extensive online searches and have come up dry for a block heater plug option (other than generic magnetic pads) for this engine.
