New tires recommendation

I recently replaced my rear tires with Hankook Evo2 and now after 7,000 mies they are gone. Which tires would you recommend for better/longer tread life?

I'd start by going to tirerack......doing a search for proper tire size....then sort by UTQG from highest to lowest.

Personally I have Michelin PSS for 11k miles and the rears are still good. Then again I'm more of an MPG guy and simply get the best tires purely for emergency purposes, so my driving style may be fairly conservative compared to most.

Michelin Pilot Super Sports. Yes they cost more, yes they're with it.

Just renewed my rear (staggered AMG 18 in 5 spoke wheels) Continental All weather ContiSport 3 tires after 64,000 miles. Were still above the minimum tread markers! Fronts have much later ContiSport 5s on and were changed a couple years ago. Just my contribution to the thread. :)

I see you're from Florida so the weather conditions aren't as bad as Boston...but I've always swapped my stock tires with Continental ExtremeContact DWS (all seasons). They really are amazing in all conditions and wear nicely. They are a bit costly, but worth it IMHO. Just thought I'd add my 2 cents.

Agreed

as one Allen in Boston to another, i'm loving the new extreme contacts i just had installed. the weather we have had is brutal and i feel safe and confident driving with the new tires. feel like im stuck to the ground and cornering feels great
