Is your C class your daily driver?
I own 2 cars personally. Wifey has hers. Ever since I bought my C 3 months ago I can't get my self to drive the other one though I love it as well, hence racking up some serious miles. In 3 months I've managed to put 5000.
My other love interest is a Volvo S60. Every day I tell my self, come Monday I'll kick around the Volvo and leave the Merc for weekend use. Guess what... Monday comes around and I make a bee line to the Merc. Wondering if you guys use your C as a daily driver or do you own a second vehicle to commute daily. How many miles are you all averaging per month on your C class. |
Our C350 is my wife's daily driver. After all, that is what Mercedes-Benz are made for... these are not weekend toys!

It is a benefit though since I rack up enough speedy rewards points every week to more then fill up my car for free. I would drive it daily if it could and I usually find reasons to take a ride during the week especially on nice days. |

@mymandan...
It is pretty much my idea. I have access to a company vehicle but don't have the room at the house for it not to mention I would be responsible for the insurance as crazy as it sounds. @w57th... I would have done the same. Trade in values are horrible and the car has more value for what it is than whatever ridiculous offer they make you, not to mention sentimental value. I was after a 2007 C230 Sport for the longest time but wasn't able to find one with the color and package I wanted (Silver w/ Black int. Navi, etc). |
My daily winter driver is my ml350. My daily summer driver is my c300 sport.

my c300 is my daily
|
I downsized from 2 cars to 1 when I bought my C250, and it is my DD.
For the first year I had it, I had a 2 mile commute (one way), then a 14 mile (one way) commute for the next year and a half. I'm back to a 1 mile commute (one way). I've still managed to put 36K on it in 3 years. I've never driven a better car for road trips. |
Not really. My daily is my white (blacked out) 07 Tahoe and I take my c class on sunny days or weekends. I don't want to miles on it mainly because more miles = more services. I don't mind putting mile on the Tahoe at all. But before I had the Tahoe, my c was my daily.

I've got two Merc's
My 87 SL is my show car, and is mostly garage kept with my C300 being my daily driver. |
Daily. 500 miles per week.
This car is not gaining value sitting in a garage. |

That's about average. Not bad at all.

Daily for both of us. It's technically my wife's car but I switch back and forth to even out the miles on them.

I have lightly glanced at them however plan to upgrade my M to an E92 this summer. Really liking the daily driver aspect of the AMG since I commute but have a hard on for getting a V8. |

My C is my daily as that's my only car. Same like you OP, have put almost 5000 miles since i got the car in November. Really liked to drive this car so far.
|
Mine is DD...invention was for this car to be a daily bomber in the worst of weather, park anywhere vehicle for me.

Opinion on CLA45? I have lightly glanced at them however plan to upgrade my M to an E92 this summer. Really liking the daily driver aspect of the AMG since I commute but have a hard on for getting a V8. Just not ideal vehicle for my daily type of driving in NYC . 19 inch wheels. If your really Into v8 power the 45 may not be your style of power delivery. I've always been into very high strung 4 cylinder turbo power since I was a kid. The 45 is my weekend fun vehicle. |
My C is my daily also. Only car I own.
|
Daily Driver as the other two were! Cars are meant to be driven
|
My C is actually my "beater" :)
I have a GL-450 for the family and a 2014 Stingray for play  I traded my 2011 E-350 in for the Stingray about a year ago. |
DD here. Bought and designed/spec'd for it to be.
Looking back, I could of probably gone for a 250, however I had a hard time going down on over all power, and the 350 satisfied my criteria of "whatever car I get next has to get better MPG"...even though it only beat my previous ride by 1. |
