Took my C350 to the drag strip
I decided to take my 2013 C350 to the dragway the other weekend. The car is bone stock, I haven't made any performance modifications. I got some official track times (as official as it gets at the track i guess). Anyway I'm pretty impressed with the performance. My best 1/4 mile time was 14 seconds flat and 0-60 time of 5.5 seconds. Not bad for luxury cruiser. I might tune it when my warranty is up and race it again but I would want to know if it will make much of a difference. Has anyone tuned their c350 and raced it? I'm guessing you're probably shaving of like tenths of a second of the 0-60 time.

If the claims are to be believed on a ecu tune, I'd expect high 13's. 13.8-13.9 Maybe with bolt ons you could get another tenth. Not like there is a ton of power on the table for the c350. If it were upto me, I'd throw a LSD on it rather than spend money on more power.

Nice run! I ran 13.8 as my best of 5 runs at Capital Raceway a year ago. I wasn't completely stock, I had BMC Air Filters and Resonator removed with straight pipes. Capital Raceway is a pretty quick track so times could very. I had the times slips posted on my photobucket site but my account has been hacked since then and shutdown.
I plan on keeping my car for another 2 years and I will be doing a full exhaust and custom short ram-intakes along with my updating my tune. I will see if I can crack mid low-mid 13s.

I don't know if you are asking OP, but for me, I find that the best runs for this car are with Sport mode+Torque Braking+Mash gas at green. I hold at between 2000-2200RPM and mash gas. Capital is usually prepped pretty good so I avoid doing the burnout/tire warm up. It takes me about 1hr to get to Capital from my house so the tires by then are good and warm since its mainly highway driving then a bunch of stop lights.
I had TCS come on only on 1 run. I don't know how to turn it off. If so, I could probably launch harder.
Test & Tune days are back at Capital Fri-Sun and I plan to go back soon with some friends.

And I never thought to keep the RPMs at around 2200. I just used the hold function and had my foot ready at the pedal. I think I'll try that next time.

I've been meaning to take mine to the strip, but the one near me is always so crowded you can spend all night and only get a few runs in.
