Is it priced the same as a 2008 c300 with 50k miles on it? Or are you looking to make that 15k back? Can I ask what TV show it was used on?
|
Hey Dan. Here it is,
I bought the car for $38,000 new I dumped almost $20k in it. I will never get that back. I was asking $26k which is "tech" what it's worth but on blue book it's not. I'm willing to take $22k bottom dollar. I'm at a loss but can be ok with that. I'm in Fort Worth TX. Thanks |
Oh the TV show was some reality car show. I can't remember the name. I was originally going to put a c63 kit on it and they wanted to use my car to do a elaborate make over, thus the black series kit and major fabrication all which is clean and tacful.
:zoom: |
Forgot to mention this is a 2008 BUT has updated 2014 face life and headlights along with LED taillights.
|
are those DRL's in the lower center front bumper?
and if it was me i would remove the C63 and AMG badge on the trunk as you are about to sell it and it will not be on TV anymore |
Yes they are DRLs. They can be removed easily. The badges were a joke. But of coarse I advertise it as what it is a c300 to sell. Funny thing when I left Park Place Mercedes for my keys being made, the techs all came out and were like nice 63 man. I was like ya I wish. It's a nice fake one. They didn't even look under the hood and were fooled.
|
Now that is a really nicely done look alike
|
Good luck with the sale. It's gorgeous, clone or not.
|
For $26,000 you can get an actual C63 AMG used.
Hood fitment looks off. I'm not saying the total car looks bad, but I don't understand putting all this money into a C300 to make it look like a Black Series AMG. Did you purchase the car like this or did you start with a stock C300 and do all the modifications? |

Did you purchase the car like this or did you start with a stock C300 and do all the modifications? For $26,000 I can't find any used C63 around in southern California. You can barely get a C250 for that price. You would be looking at $35k minimum for a 2011 and that's high mileage. |
^^ Hes on point with price, you may be able to fine an older c63 like 2008-2009? for that price.. I got my 2013 C250 with all options but pano and bi-xenons with 20k miles and in perfect condition for $28,000 out the door before my trade in.
|
Ya I understand that for sure. We fabricated the car back in 2009. Now obviously you can buy a used c63 for that. I was asking $26k it's only been up for sale fee a few days. I'd take $20k need her gone. No more room in garage. :/
Thanks for the kind comments. Ps the hood was open in one pic for photos why it looks that way. |

curieus to see as its the first time i see a 204 with DRL's on that place |
Ok no prob. Ya it was the only place to put :/ tech BS doesn't have them but I added them in this case
|
There are subtle little differences that a true C63 owner would notice but besides that it looks pretty good. :y
|
Only difference is big breaks and Black Series doesn't come in 4 door. You are correct
|
Actually there are a lot more, but I'm not here to **** on your thread. It's not a contest to see how much it looks like a BS. Widebody conversion looks sharp. GLWS :y
|
Actually doesn't look that bad, was expecting worse. At $22k it's decently priced
|
A c300 potential buyer would love this. Don't sell yourself or the car short, don't Fire sell it either, just take your time. It looks better than some members c63 bs conversions. Minus the drl's ofcourse, very ricey lol.

x2 on all of the above comments. I'll be honest, if I didn't just buy my C250 a few months ago I'd seriously consider buying this. Not sure why you need to sell this as fast as yesterday but don't sell yourself so short. This is beautiful looking car and I assume mechanically it is just as good as it looks. We can all debate about it being a clone or not but this is seriously a gorgeous car. Let's face it, the hard work is already done. If I personally bought it I'd obviously remove the AMG badging and probably swap out the rear diffuser to the carbon fiber fin as opposed to whats on it, but other than that, it's gorgeous. Good luck with the sale. |
Take the badges off, get the AMG brake system, and it's likely the sweetest C300 you can purchase for the price.
Lol at 26k for a C63. Wouldn't touch that **** with a 10' pole. High mileage and beat to **** is the only thing I saw of early MY 63's and wouldn't go down that path out of warranty. |
Thanks for the kind comments.
I was going to have the body guy remove badges and give it a good polish. I only need to sell because no room for it in garage and not fair to leave outside although it is covered. Plus still paying insurance on a car I'm not driving :/ |
There is nothing wrong with high mileage C63 as long as the maintenance has been done regularly.
OP is that OEM suspension in the rear and lowered in the front? You'll definitely find a buyer at that price point. GLWS |
Ibach springs set up. I believe it was 1-1/2 front 2inch rear. It has air shocks in rear that can be adjusted.
