In the next couple of days I'll be picking up a 2010 C300 (I'll be paying for this one). I need it because DDing the 63 is quite expensive. This W204 will be heavily modded.

Looking forward to trying this again and making some new friends, as well as getting to catch up with older members!

I'm happy for you bro, a little jelly too haha :p:

I know my situation is chump change compared to the likes of your two C63's, but in high school my parents got me a new C300 and it was one of the nicest cars in the entire school. I got a lot of flak for it even though I was the nicest kid to everyone. I would wash the car every week because I loved it so much. Looking back, I can see now how I could have come off a little douchey. Everyone would bring up "Mommy and Daddy" buying me anything I wanted, when in fact I wasn't an expensive kid and they surprised me with it after I was looking at used jettas, altimas and accords.

I think the difference between being spoiled rotten and being fortunate is the person's attitude. You seem like a chill dude, and I have nothing against you for being fortunate enough for nice things. I commend you taking the time to better yourself, that's respectable.

Welcome back, friend. :y

Geeez. I just got one second hand 1982 Dodge Colt and tuition to community college. Thanks, Mom.

My first ride was a 96 VW VR6 Passat. Ran it into the ground as most teenagers do with their first car lol.

My first Mercedes was a project car my dad and I had though. An 87 560 SL. Still have it today, and love every inch. ^.^ My C300 though is all from my two hands.

To ilumunus welcome! I'm sorry you had such a bad time last time, just don't go badge-ing your C300 as an AMG C63, and you'll be good in my book. I have a feeling though since you've owned them before that won't be a problem lol.

Welcome back! I can't help myself to get a job too having F-1 Visa here. I 100% relying on parents' debit card too :(
Here I am lucky and blessed enough to drive a CPO Benz. How to appreciate it? Keep it nice and clean. Clay bar and wax it! Keeping the resale value as much as possible :)

How often do you clay bar and wax?

I try to clay and wax at least twice a year or every quarter break, so like 2-4 times a year. The easiest way to keep it smooth and clean is just to use a hydrophobic quick detailer from Meguiar's after washing it :)

Claying the whole car throughly until it's super smooth could take half a day (for me) if the car has never been clayed before. After that, it's 30-90 minutes job depending on your satisfaction level! The bumper is usually the hardest part as you have to bend over and it's a piece of plastic :nix:

Hope this helps! Just sharing my experience as a university student who tries to keep his car nice and different from the others :)
