Michelin tires for 2008 C300 4matic Luxury
For the first time since I bought this car, I'm going to replace ALL 4 tires at the same time (and I am the original owner). I always bought the Michelin Pilots (HX MXM4) but see there are new choices for all-season tires from Michelin. The Pilot's performance was fine for my driving style. I've had a bit of feathering even though I cross rotate every 5000 miles and have alignment checked routinely. I have found them to be noisy, which I'm sure the feathering exacerbates. I'm more interested in reduced noise and smooth ride than aggressive driving or deep snow. I've narrowed it down to the Primacy or the Premier but I've found conflicting info on which would be the quietest. Would love to know what folks on this forum think.

I have Michelin Primacy on now & I have found them a relatively quite tyre with good wearing capability & rugged enough for gravel roads. I am told MB drivers in rural South Africa use them.
I would buy them again if available..
I have no experience with Premier so cannot compare.

I have experience with two sets of Primacy MXV4's and two sets of Primacy MXM4's on various family cars (including a C300). The MXV4's are definitely quieter and cushier than the MXM4's. Being that the Premier A/S is the replacement for the MXV4, I would lean towards that tire if comfort is a priority. However, I do not have experience with the Premier A/S as of yet.
That said, if comfort is a priority, I would suggest Pirelli Cinturato P7 All Season Plus's (not to be confused with other Pirellis with similar names). I put them on my mother's car and we're all pretty happy with them so far. In particular, they are noticeably quieter than the Michelins on coarser road surfaces such as concrete (a pet peeve of my sister's with her Odyssey and Michelin Defenders). A friend of mine has them on his BMW and gives them high praise, too.
