Activating Traffic Management Control (TMC) via Engineering Mode?

Activating Traffic Management Control (TMC) via Engineering Mode?
HI everyone,

I have just updated my 2012 Australia/NZ map. I clicked on TMC in Navi mode and it keeps saying it is unable to receive any traffic reception.

I called one of the dealership about this and they told me that TMC is not available on my 2010 W204 C250 CGI.

However I have noticed the TMC Pro logo comes up a few times for just a few seconds, then it disappears. Thereafter I cannot receive any traffic updates.

My question is whether anyone experience the same i.e. TMC does not work on similar car model. And whether Engineering mode can activate TMC reception or not.

Yes I think I hv COMAND NTG4. I seen the TMC Pro showing up again this morning for a few seconds when I start up my car. Then it goes off....
