Help with Exhaust Sound

Ok so I took this audio clip:

https://www.dropbox.com/s/5zuxf7ydp6...e_014.m4a?dl=0

So when my car is really cold it makes that popping sound. This lasts for about 15sec then its gone. What can I do do permanently get the popping sound?

I'm in South Africa so I can't get the nice toys like in the US because its just insane to import so I need to get someone locally to do this.

thats exhaust backfire, typically the result of an improper air to fuel ratio. only way to get it to "pop" all the time like that would be to tweak the tune of the car.

Not really, but it's possible I guess. High performance cars are tuned this way. Usually when the driver shifts and lets off the accelerator it will run rich for that moment which causes an incomplete burn in the combustion chamber and the fumes travel to the exhaust where it will explode causing the popping/backfire noise & sometimes fireballs. The engine is working just fine though.

All cars, and gasoline motors in general, are setup to run rich on cold starts. This can often result in the popping similar to high performance cars but without all that pesky extra power...
Anyhow you should be gentle with your cold engine starts. I wouldn't be revving my engine during a cold start as nothing is up to operating temp...could end up with carbon deposits from an incomplete burn and increased internal wear on surfaces...
