buyer beware - I am on my second set after my first had all kinds of issues with high beams and "C" light. Now the passenger side low beam wont work. Trying to get it replaced again.

All of these headlights come from the same factory. They are all "knock offs", regardless of the price you paid. Some sellers shipped directly from China and charged a little more than factory price. Some US sellers imported shipments of 50-100 units, marked up their price, and shipped them from the domestic warehouse. You end up with the same product.
I have not had a problem with the headlights after over a year and I paid $500. Buyer need not beware.

A quick Google search will produce many people complaining of quality issues with these units. I experienced them first hand. That said there are many satisfied customers as well. Buyer should beware of the potential issues these aftermarket parts can cause. Also, fishcake321 has been very good to work with me to repair or replace defective units. It's, however, a pain in the *** to remove and reinstall these things. So just know what you could be getting your self into.

While the bumper needs to be dropped the DIY videos don't look too bad.
There is a youtube video where a guy shows them getting stuck on high beams.
I'd hold on to the originals if I put these in.

I had the highbeam stuck issue, and "C" light flicker and eventually go out. Keep in mind the install is not the hard part, its adjusting the gaps between the bumper, hood and fender. This takes most of the time. I did a write up here.

Interesting, I wonder how the assembly knows the difference between a FTP and high beam activation? It's not something coded into the normal halogen setup.
I'm surprised your C63 didn't come with HIDs. I don't usually see any C63 or C350 cars with halogen.

Good Morning All, just an update, I took my car to the seller Fishcake321 to check out my issue with the passenger light not working. They fixed it on the spot. While these units tend to have issues, at least they stood by their product and fixed the issues I had.

It was a fix, there is a connector with what looks like a large capacitor that had a short. They replaced the wiring harness.
