W204 Code 477 (Passive TPMS) to Code 475 (Active)
Guys
Can the passive TPMS in my car be converted to the active one?
I know DAS to change the Code from 477 to 475, Wheel Sensors and the Sensor Module is required..but would that be it?

It'd have to be coded into the car, something only the dealer can do or someone with access to Xentry/STAR diagnostics. Simply changing the code won't make it work, as far as I know. There's a separate control module for the active TPMS, as well as some settings in various other control units in the car.
They're two different systems entirely, passive TPMS simply gauges the difference in rotational speed of the tires to determine inflation pressure (usually about 3-5psi will make a difference), the active system actually measures tire pressure per wheel.
Honestly, I'd prefer the passive one. Makes tire changes/wheel changes easier, is more reliable, and won't require probably some extensive variant coding to get entirely working (or $$$ from the dealership, if they're even willing to do it)
