Exclamation C300 Muffler Delete, Remove Tail Pipes from muffler

My mechanic is currently in the process of removing the mufflers. But he noticed the muffler is attached/holding the Tail tips (the separate rod), he said he can still do it but not sure if it would look right.

If someone has removed there tail pipes from the muffler maybe could you guys advise or provide images?

I used different tips altogether. My guy just chopped the entire muffler off and welded some new pipe in followed by the new tips.

For what you are asking, I'm not sure the width of the OEM pipe tip...I'd assume 2.25" like the rest of the exhaust. Just have him weld some new custom pipe in and then weld on whatever tips you are using.

I called my mechanic put a stop in the project thank god the exhaust expert had a family issue (lol not in that way) because I had him to hold off and I bought these Tail pipes and my rear carbon fiber diffuser which has a 10.5" opening for exhaust pipe comes this Friday so this should work out just right!!!

Haha, didn't realize you were the same guy on the other forum post! Haha, I was going to do square tips, but I want to keep the look of the original tips/oval style.

Thank you so much for your replies
