MB C220
C class (W204) C350d AMG packet

Hey guys! I was recently looking for some neat cars and came across a nice MB C 350d. It is priced at 17 350 Euros. It looks quite nice and the equipment is also premium on sight. I was wondering if you could give me advice on what to check for and ask the seller. Is it good to buy it at all, when it has already 180k kms driven? Do you think the price is adequate?

Thanks for any response, have a nice day

Nice looking car, but, I'm pretty sure that car has been painted since the Bluetec badges on both front fenders are much higher than they should be (should be much lower, just below the center line) and both badges on the trunklid are missing. Could be innocent, but, I would check for prior body or accident damage.

Got my 350 diesel (2010) with 167.000km and now it's at 200k, haven't had any issues to report, apart from the power steering pump dying due to a leak. But that's my fault for not checking the level during maintenance.

Would worry about issues with oil leaks with om642 engines.

What's the most common part that tends to cause leaks on the om642?

Oil cooler seals. Rear main seal. Leaks at turbo.
