C250 Engine/Trans mount replacement

Hello, does anybody have access to WIS who could post the procedure to replace engine and transmission mounts for a 2012 W204 C250? I have searched and only found info for early cars (2008-2011 C300/350, not the later 4 cyl models). Seems very straightforward but just want to make sure there is nothing unusual before I commit to doing the job! (not my car)

why would the mounts need to be replaced so early?

I frankly wonder the same thing. Owner brought the car to the dealer and they said they need to be replaced - for a cool $1,000! That said, car has 100k miles so it is possible.

Typically, the mounts can be checked with 2 people. A courageous person to look under the hood while the second operates the car. Watch the engine while the car is put in gear then revved to the stall speed of the converter. Do it in drive and reverse. If the engine rocks slightly in both directions, the engine mounts are good. If the engine lifts in either direction, motor mounts are bad. Transmission mounts lead a hard life but are designed for it. If you can feel movement in the shifter, it's probably bad.
