Centre dashboard vents not blowing hot air (2013)

Hey everyone, thanks for having a look,

I recently bought a 2013 c300 4matic from a used car dealership. The car has 37km (23k miles). Everything on the car works great, and feels nice. The only problem the centre heat blower I think isn't working. When I put the heat on maximum, heat comes from every port except the middle console vents (vents on the button panel). Is this a heat blower problem? When I put the ac on it blows air fine. The car has factory warranty until June, is this covered under warranty (bought car from used car dealership)? Could it be another problem?

Appreciate any help! Thank you

So, are you saying if you turn the climate control dial to something like 72 degrees the center vents work fine, but when you put the heat all the way on maximum nothing comes out? What happens when you push the button to adjust where the air comes out so that it is just from the middle instead of at your feet or the windshield? Does that work?

Going to retire this account... Too embarrassing. Yes sir you are correct. I just simply turned the climate control to max and then the fan to max.

I totally forgot to look at what setting it was on. When I switched to feet and and chest setting it blows hot air!! I didn't notice the bottom right switch which changes the setting. Thankyou very much for your help, apologies if I wasted your time. Looks like I need to bust out manual and start reading about the car lol

No worries, stuff like that happens to everyone at one time or another. No matter how simple or intuitive something might look, it might not be what you think. Good example of why it is important to at least page through the owner's manual once to familiarize you with everything. Pretty long read in one sitting as those books are so thick. I remember when I got my car it took me about a week to get through it all little by little.

Enjoy your new ride even more now that you are nice and comfy.
