Did you happen to get any data points? I read it has glazed windows so I'm curious.

Also it's like, 60k cheaper so, you could spruce up the interior lol but who wants to do work xD I do but that's besides the point lol.

Yes, the W222 has dual glazed windows and an acoustic windshield.

Here are my various measurements

At 145km/hr:

My C300 (modded), 68db
Lexus LS500 (2018): 69db
Genesis G90 (5.0T - 2018): 68DB

W222 S550: 65db

^wow, eh? All the cars above, other than mine, have acoustic windshields and dual glazing. The Merc just demolishes sound (And it has RFTs!) I can only imagine what the sound levels are once I get rid of that crap!

I suppose, it could also depend on the surface of where you are placing the recorder too though, as the materials may be different between cars. Did you get DB on the 300?

Also for the record I like the LWB - the SWB looks weird to me lol. Might as well buy a CLA LWB (yes that exists)

Yep, I have considered a SUV, in fact a SUV was my first car. That said ever since gas prices shot up about 10 years ago, I've switched to a sedan and haven't looked back. I like sedans, for some reason....I can't even tell you why. Maybe it's the stately feeling or something.

Here's something funny. Dr. Z's last year as CEO of Daimler-Benz is this year. He's being replaced next year by the first non German CEO in the history of Benz. (and a young dude at that). I found one of his videos here:

Oh I love his reviews! He tells me things, as you mentioned, that literally no other review looks at. He's quirky, and I like quirky.

With the A8, he reviewed a pre-launch car that was not allowed to be reviewed. After he posted his review, Audi of USA went...WTF, and asked him to rescind it, so he did. He still hasn't posted a review, and that's probably because he's up schitt's creek

One of the things that's really bothering me is what happens to my 204 once I sell it. I'm a car guy. Hell I just applied paint sealant today because I love my car, even though it's going bye.

I'm wondering if there's anyone in the Ontario Canada area who is interested in buying one, or knows of someone who may want it?
