So my sons 2008 C350 with sports package is a great car. The AMG package wheels, not so great. Our town has more pot holes than straight road and I have simply spent too much replacing, repairing, and suffering with damaged low profile tires and rims...

So the original tires are 245/40ZR-18 and 255/35ZR-18 - not sure how to describe the AMG rims but they are the originals.

So is there an easy/cheap to get used or new rim tire combo that is durable. Don't care what they look like and preferably the same size front and back. Durable more important than performance or appearance. Best if they are similar to OEM non sports wheels... not sure where to look and it isn't obvious on Ebay for example..

best bet would be to get a set of the 17" oem wheels that come on the c300 luxury sedans. They have a taller sidewall that would be more forgiving than the low profile 18" wheel and still are a Mercedes wheel.

If OEM wheels were not important, I found these on eBay that look similar to an AMG wheel but smaller size and fairly cheap for four. Would need tires however.

I'm not sure what the ones I have fit... the two fronts are damaged now anyway, one beyond repair the other fixable...

So I had looked for something like this

but they don't list the c350 as compatible, they do list the 2008 c300, but that may be they just aren't comprehensive. I didn't know if the brakes were larger with the sports package or some other issue such as that, or if you must have different width front and rear wheels on the sport c350... hence my post
