Staggered Wheel Setups W/ 4Matics

I’m currently looking into buying some wheels for a winter setup. Stock my C300 Sport came staggered with 18x7.5 and 18x8.5. Currently I run 19x8.5 squared. I’m considering for the winter wheels buying 19x8.5 and 19x9.5. Does anyone know if this will put too much strain on the rear diff? I’ve heard mixed opinions on this so I’m kindof looking for facts.

I could always run the 19x8.5 squared again with this setup, but I’m trying to fill the wheel wells out a little better. This is only my second AWD car, and the first I’ve ever seen a staggered set of wheels on. AWD’s are almost always equal specs.

You will be fine. I currently run 8" and 9" setup with the OEM tire specs for my summer wheels. As long as you don't go with more than 1" difference between front and back for your wheels and that your tires have rougly the same diameter (+/- 3%) you will be okay.

19x8.5 and 19x9.5 is the preferred aftermarket setup for staggered wheels on the W204 platform. Should be ok.

I never had 17’s. 17’s to me are wayy too small. I think 18’s even look small on these W204’s.
