Unplugged radiator fan

so the other day I was looking for a leak around my engine and for some reason I Disconected the radiator fan then reconnected it again whilest the battery was still intact, now here's the problem my car is starting to overheat during traffick and idle, I'm not sure if I messed with fans settings with the battery still connected or what?? Any info would be much appreciated.

cheers

Are the fans working at all? If not, maybe you blew a fuse when you reconnected it. Or maybe double check the it is connected tightly.

So which fan are you talking about here?

In your first post you mentioned the rad fan. Later you said the heater fan was OK, proving the fuses were OK.
These are different fans.
I'm pretty sure the rad fan will have different fuses/relays to the heater fan.
Maybe check the rad fan fuse/relay?

Good luck
