W205 Steering Wheel retrofit on PFL W204

So I got some time last week to install a new W205 steering wheel on my 09 C63 and wanted to share.

I purchased my steering wheel and air bag from RevoCarbon. (formerly Revotech Motorsports) It was custom made to my liking with a lead time of two and a half weeks, from the day the order was placed to the day it reached my doorstep. Both steering wheel and the air bag were packaged carefully with no issues.

Straight out the packaging this thing screamed quality, stitching was nice and even, carbon weave was laid flawlessly and the lacquer finish was smooth and clear. They nailed every option I asked for.

Install was pretty straight forward, took about 45 min to get it all done. I'm aware Kriston posted a similar thread a few months back, but I believe his was more of a DIY whereas mine was basically plug and play. I was skeptical at first when RevoCarbon said everything would plug right in, but I pulled the trigger anyways and they delivered! They took care of all the prewiring for me, I literally just had to plug it in and every steering wheel control functions how it should. I've been driving around with it for about 4 days now with no issues.

Overall extremely happy with RevoCarbon's product and customer service. The w205 steering wheel changes the whole look and feel of the interior, especially in a PFL.
Again, huge shoutout to RevoCarbon. Thanks for the great deal and assuring everything functioned properly.

Here are some pictures.

Strange, I have a A45 wheel sitting on my shelf cuz nothing worked when I installed it on my 2010 C200. Reading around, some people say I need to change to the FL steering wheel angle sensor unit to get the wheel to work.

Looks great!
I'm thinking about doing something like this in my 2008 PFL C180 Kompressor.
Anything I need to think about? I know I probably have to change the steering column to make the lights work, but will all the buttons work if I fit it on the stock column?

Edit: Oh, and I have the 4-spoke stock steering wheel. If that makes a difference.

After some email contact with our friend Chris the Swede at CKM Car Design, I am now awaiting my new steering wheel, steering column, and the 10,25 inch screen upgrade. I'm like a child waiting for Xmas.

If anyone's interested I'll probably make my own thread with some pics and possibly a video on how it went.

This is the SW and screen.
