I want to update my gps, but here need license key. So how can I get my license key? I already have the map, but need license key.

Upon taking delivery of my C250, I asked the concierge about his estimate of costs for updating the GPS.

I was impressed. Like more than just a few here, I'm not really a high roller. I'm by no means poor...................(but certainly not a high roller)

My - FWIW - recommendation would contain six letters: Garm.. (well, this ain't rocket science here).

It is time (somewhere the sun is over the yardarm) now for some (cheap) Scotch.

You do not have all the detail of your car in your profile, so it's hard to help you precisely. Here is what I know about C class W204 navigation :
1. From model year 2008-2011 : you can get a newer DVD map from MB dealer (or whatever source you can get). It's a 2 DVD disk, it took somewhere 2 to 4 hours with the car running (or the ignition on position # 2), after load DVD # 2, it may go to completion (in my case for 2008 C350), it has an error, but it load the NEW MAP & working fine after all (I do not run the car, but hook up the battery charger to the battery while the update is running, so the battery is fully charged).
2. With the face lift W204 (start model year 2012 > up), you can get the update DVD from the MB dealer (or whatever source you can get), but you still end up with authorize MB dealer to get the license key before you can do the NAVI update. I think the disk is $250 + the hours they do the update. You can BUY the license from the MB dealer & DIY (no warranty for the good update).
Check with your authorize MB dealer, they will tell you the cost + how to do the update by yourself (cost the money $$$$), not sure will worth the money. (I update my C350 NAVI back in 2012, the map still current in my local SoCal CA). Good luck.
