Question Installing aftermarket infotainment unit

I have the base infotainment in my 2008 c300 (small screen that does not pop out). I found a replacement online that has apple car play. I am a little skeptical however since I cant find any videos or reviews of people doing it. Would this work for the car? http://www.carnaviplayer.com/mercede...-upgrade-p-959

Thank you!

Do you specifically need to have apple carplay? Ckm has an Android version that some members have installed.

The unit comes as an android but the apple car play is an extra charge to add on. They want to charge 70$ but I can probably find the software and download and install on my own for free. I just dont want to get scammed thats all.

This unit looks interesting. I too have been looking for a larger screen unit for a while, but it would be helpful to hear (and see some pictures) of someone who has done this installation already.
