Suspension rebuild cost - C300
Starting to get front end clunks and past couple services have noted that thrust arm bushings and sway bar bushings are worn and need replacement, seems about right as 10 years for rubber is pretty much end of life.
I hate to spend the $$$ to replace a few bushings and have a few more just go bad a year down the road. Has anyone here completely refreshed their front suspension with all new bushings? If so what kind of damage am I looking at?
Thanks in advance!

My car is a 2010 and I just replaced the front lower control arms, that's it. And I drive like a asshat so I'd say the life you get out of the parts isn't that bad. I tend to need to replace my front sway links more often because I'm on H&R super sports but that's it.
If you don't go OEM you might be able to save some money that way. I opted to replace the entire arm rather than pushing out the bushing, the price difference wasn't too far off.

I replaced the upper control arm bushing about 50,000 miles ago.
Stabilizer bar links were recently replaced. Mechanic says they are tight. Still it sounds like a stabelizer bar link.
I've never replaced the lower control arms. So I guess I should start there.
Q. If you only replace lower control arms (thrust arms), you don't need to do a wheel alignment, correct?
