You need a camera ($25 on Ebay) and Fakra cable to plug into the back of your radio. The camera will replace the backup light housing in Pic #1. You run the camera video cable from the front to the rear and tap into a 12 volt fuse that is only powered when the car is on. I had a 2011 C300 and install very easy, not sure what radio you have or if you have the correct video out in the back of the radio. There are many videos on Youtube or search this forum.

Example parts.

Ok, so i searched ebay and didnt find a camera that would fit , they all say c180 , c200 ,c 250 ,c300 , none says that it fits on c220 like mine, I guess they all are the same designs, but nut sure.also the fakra has to be fakra female or male ? it should be fakra to rca male ? fakra to rca female ?

In videos on youtube i saw that they are getting power from fuse 71 , my 71 slot is used , bont really know by what, the car came this way

How does the Nav screen input know when to switch to the rear view camera?
Automatically happens when you shift into reverse or coding through Star?

Shot story, buy a rear view camera with CCD sensor and 170.º angle. Install on one of the plastic square of the frame. Dont replace license light because then you will have diferent light color. Run power cable to fuse 71 near rear sam. Run video cable to front (get it from rear sam compartment that as a hole to front back seats, then down below frame, then up to a/c filter then to back of the NTG.

On the settings, select SRVC in engeneering and enable camera with R in settings.

Good luck!

my biggest complaints about current rear view are that it doesn't have lines and that if the radio is off, the backup camera will not work

IN my WV, even if radios is off, the backup camera put picture up there

I bought one camera with built-in guide lines. There is one wire loop to cut it open if the guide line is not needed.

I will provide info after work today. It also has high S/N, about 78 dB. The camera in my C has only 40 dB, which is okay during the day. At night I see some snow flake.

I bought it on Amazon but when I searched my order I can't find the order. I save the package. The package sticker says the model number is B075ZPNL7J. There is an instruction sheet listing three csameras, and all have SNR "better than 48 dB". I could be wrong but remember I contacted Amazon seller for the SNR specs. Regardless of "better than 48 dB" or 78 dB, this camera has much, much better image than the cheap camera on my C, no noise (like snow flakes) when outside is dark.

The camera brand is NATIKA.

I just installed a backup camera on my 2007 C280. It was relatively easy.

I posted details on this thread, I can provide more photos or discussion if it would help!

New version of camera has a line. Also its combine with handle bar so you don't ve to replace your lcd light for plate number. I just bought and install. Its easy to do but don't forget to buy tab fuse & Fakra cable as above comment said. This link is for Fakra to RCA cable. https://www.aliexpress.com/store/pro...ceBeautifyAB=0
