any 18” tires have blowouts ??
hi there I’m trying to gather info on wheather of not 18” rimed tires are less prone to blowouts with potholes etc. several of the threads mention 18” tires as opposed to 19” tires are more sturdy and since they have more sidewall are much less prone to catastrophic failure. Has this been your experience?

The bigger the sidewall the less prone to blowouts. This is a GENERAL statement and there are a lot of factors here.
This is a reason I stuck with 17" rims, as the potholes here are bigger than most babies heads.

I have 18" wheels on my car and never had a blowout, had several punctures due to road debris though
