C300 seat motor cable 1
Good evening,
I searched the thread and can't seem to find an answer. After unscrewing my front passenger seat, I found out that the seat motor cable 1 was broken (as described on this site:

Do any of you know any other way to find a replacement cable besides ordering from Taiwan? Have any of you been lucky scouring junkyards for such a part?
It pains me as there is some urgency to my request as I am trying to sell my car with a short deadline.
I appreciate any advice or suggestions you may have.

Mercedes only sells the entire seat base, or nothing. A new seat base was over 1,000 bux. When mine stripped out, I had no luck in finding a new flex-cable anywhere. I ended up buying a used seat base of Ebay for 130 bux, so ya. 130 bux for a two-inch long flex cable. The rest of the seat base is still sitting out back in a junk-pile.
