Cost for Extended Warranty and Prepaid Maintenance c300 2015
Hi,
I own 2015 Mercedes C300. It got 22k miles. My 4 year warranty and pre-paid maintenance are ending this November. So, I checked with my dealer to get quote for both.
He said:
Warranty - 3yrs/75k --> $2875
Maintanence - 3yrs --> $1665.
Can you guys tell me if this is how much usually people pay or if it can get any lower. If there are any other better options to save money please share.

I ended up paying 1750$ (3yrs/75k) all taxes included. Lesson learned --Different dealership gives different quote. So try to get atleast few quotes.

Jeff gave a quote of 1713+ 6% tax. Cassandra gave a quote of 1750( including taxes) . I gave my business to Cassandra.

Hi Ravithej,
Did you get an extended warranty from Mercedes Benz? The reason why I am asking this question is that I looked up Cassandra and she is working for Maserati dealership and not Benz.
If the warranty is not from Mercedes Benz, who is it from and It would be helpful if you can share the details.

Warranty I got is from Mercedes Benz. I don't know if she was working with Maserati or Mercedes at that time. Ask her if she recently moved to different company. or some people even if they don't work with Mercedes they are able to provide these extended warranties. So may be she is doing the same. I am not sure. I would recommend to ask her directly.
I asked her only one question. Is the extended warranty that she offered usable without any questions in any Mercedes dealership and she said yes. Thats it.

when I was close one year being up, (you needed to purchase extended warranty within a year)
I ended up going with the dealer in Chico, CA. Saved I can't remember but it was like $500 to $1000 cheaper,
for extending to 100K miles than dealer I purchased the car from. And it paid for itself.
Work i had done under warranty has allowed the car to last all these years, got all the bugs out.
