C220 CDI Warmup times
Hi Folks,
I Have a 2014, C220 Estate, I've noticed in colder weather it takes a lot long er to reach operating temperature. Intuitive I know, but, it takes around 15 minutes to reach 85 deg C, and it does make me wonder if the thermostat arrangement isn't shutting when cold.
Or, is this what others typically see? Its a 30-40 minute commute, taking in A roads, and dual carriageway. Once onto the Dual Carriageway, and sat at 65 - 70, the working temperature is quickly reached, but it is towards the end of my journey, and I'm a little concerned about prolonged cold running, and of course the fuel economy suffers when running cold.
