Hi all,

Just picked up a 2014 C300 4Matic and have been wanting to swap out a few things but wanted to get some of your insights.

I've got the standard halogen headlights. I wanted to upgrade to the C63 bi xenon units. Is this a simple plug and play or is there more to it?

Was also wanting to swap for a C63 bumper but can't seem to figure out if the cars are the same width or not. I would think the C63s are wider but not sure. Will a C63 bumper fit or is that more of a "you can make it fit but it won't look right" kind of deal?

Hey, congrats on the new car, it's really a nice ride. I'm sure someone that's more well versed can help out, but from my perspective - swapping to Mercedes parts OEM HID lamps from halogen on w204 is very expensive. Each side list is over 1K if I recall. Then it's the bunch of other crap you need, plugs, ballasts, and install, so cost could far outstrip the value of whole proposition. I have the same year and car, hit the same wall, and am tentatively looking at buying the Depo headlights, which gives a very similar to OEM-HID look. The bumper covers I'm not sure about, I know the track is wider, and the fenders are pushed out a couple inches, not sure I remember where they join up.. dunno. Good luck.

Congrats! Your best bet for Xenon headlights is to go with the DEPO headlights (~$350) and mate them with a high-quality Morimoto HID kit ($150).
