New to my W204 C230
 

HI fellas, i purchased my first MB this past summer from a friend, for my wife. Its a 2008 C230 sport package sedan, pretty basic. We love the car.
There may be a sticky on this, but thought id try here first. I just purchased a set of taillights this morning second hand from a 2013 C63 coupe, for the updated look obviously.
The gentleman said that i might need the SAM, when i told him my year, so he took it out of the car while i was there, and gave it to me as well.
Do i need the SAM? Or is it easier to get my SAM coded? I'm in Toronto, do dealerships do the coding, is that my only source?
I will start a new thread on the seats that i also bought from the same car, that i hope will fit my car without too many issues.

I want to say you need the Sam as well, not sure about the way to program. If you Google your search and add "mbworld" at the end, it's a lot easier than using the search feature on the forums.
