Brake job!
Has anyone bought the brake job kit off rock auto? (Power stop Esk5719)
$600 for everything shipped to your door.
I know everyone goes ake and Zimmerman but the cheapest I could get them was $812 with sensors.
It's harder for us Canadians to get the deals lol

That's good news! The drilled ones are even cheaper.
Oem lasted me over a 100,000Km I want something that's decent without breaking the bank.
Has anyone used power stop?

Power Stop parts are mostly made overseas, Far East but good specs. I know the Bondurant Racing School used their brakes if that means anything.

There's ECE-R90 not drilled set
Then there's Z23 drilled front and rears and not drilled

I've heard mixed things about powerstop
I think I got ake pads on Amazon and zimm rots on Fcpeuro for best prices (obv may vary now)
Plus with FCPeuro you get the lifetime replacement warranty - never have to buy rotors again

FCP won't ship to canada unfortunately. i've also read mixed reviews on power stop none very bad but samplings on stopping power. we all know the c300 is fast but its no AMG.

BECK/ARNLEY 0833460Z (for the rear) and BECK/ARNLEY 0833458Z (for the front) have Zimmerman listed in the title on rockauto under the Daily Driver section of rotors for our cars. Could they be made by the same manufacturer? There's no drilled front rotor that also states Zimmerman, but there is a drilled BECK/ARNLEY one.

i looked its more expensive! but i've been reading the C300 Canadian car has the C350 rotors. so i went on rock auto under C350 they have the Zimmermann rotors listed but only one in stock for the fronts so im **** out of luck there.
there should be a sticky for part numbers on this Canadian vs US. theres a lot of misinformation on this topic.

Guys did the full brake job let me tell you it takes a while. Getting to things is tricky on the rear end. Once you have everything off it goes much faster. Saved my self $1500 doing it myself, total time was 4 hours.

I just did my rears after 60k just today. The problem is the parking brakes hang up on the rotors, was pretty bad. It’s not a terrible job though. I make the hubs spotless from rust where the rotors touch to prevent warping and put a layer of white lithium grease over it to keep everything from sticking together the next time I do it. Did that with the fronts last time and they came apart easy when I did them a couple weeks ago. I got them from FCP, maybe I’ll redo the brakes yearly lol

Just under 90K and about to do my rears for the first time later this summer. Fronts still look fine. Anybody else's rears wearing a lot faster than the fronts?
