This happened 6mos ago, I replaced the FOB battery and all is well. This morning I walk to my car, start it up and the anti theft immediately kicked in....Any ideas why??

I have a 2013 C-250 Sport Sedan...72K miles.

The last time it happened, it came on while I was driving, this time it came on right away before I could even put it into drive.

ALl the warnings popped up and slowly disabled everything.

Is this a battery issue? Bad key FOB?

Just as follow up...I put in a brand new battery in my key fob and it wouldn't even unlock my doors....so is that it? worn out key fob?

I don't think the two things are related. For the cruise being inoperative message I think it maybe that you have a faulty tire pressure sensor and that could be affecting the cruise not being available.

No, this is different...I went again and now it says this:

Anti-theft Activated. Service Required

Is this a software issue? My Fob battery is brand new, so it's not that. This is the 3rd time it has come on in the last 6 months....the first time, a new Fob battery fixed the issue....the 2nd time, it went away on its own...this time, seems it is here to stay. I have tried a few tricks to bypass, no such luck.

That sure is some big font. Why is your COMMAND unit yelling at you? Or did you just have the volume turned way up when the message displayed?

Not sure what is involved at the dealer to " have this situation permanently resolved", but is kind of sounds like they might have to reprogram something.
