2012 C300 Upgraded to LED headlights.
I have a 2012 C300 that had the standard halogen bulbs. I replaced them with LED lights so the color would matched the fog lights. Now the car tells me the headlights are out ever time I get in it. Is there a way to get the car to recognize them?

My 2011 C300 also has halogen bulbs. I tried LEDs a few years ago and found low beam pattern was not good so I put halogen bulb back, only left high beam bulbs with LEDs. However, I don't have any error message. By the way, all my rear lights are LEDs, only backup light has error message so I connect load resistors in parallel with the bulb, maybe just under 10 ohm I don't remember exactly.
I believe now we have much better LED bulbs such as six sided or even eight sided chips. I will give it a try.
