Im back, busy with work.... it can but not on its own, that unit need non sharing ground, all cars shares the same ground.. it also need a constant B+, you wont find that at the headlight...
but with enough knowledge of it and what you're doing it can work.... ill have to get a few and play with it....

Almost no upgrade or work we do to our cars are ever 'financially worth it' unless its essential to the basic operation of the vehicle (get from point A to point B).
Our vehicles (especially OUR vehicles) can not be considered an investment.
The best we can do is slow the precipitous depreciation with regular maintenance.
Upgrades, hacks and retrofits are done strictly for the driver's enjoyment and/or benefit for the most part.
@Antiguangenius took a car I personally wouldn't even look twice at and made it into a beautifully restored head-turner.
He basically saved it from the scrap yard as it would have likely been sold on a seedy buy here / pay here car lot and neglected by the new owner until it became beyond their means to repair it.
The interior swap is what REALLY impressed me too.

The converter will avoid any coding required. But I don't want to make the move unless I can make it all work. There is the question of whether the headlights hold up long term. They are not Depo (which actually has pretty good quality.)

well financially worth it equals who is doing the job and their intention of the car..... as for me yes the car was crap when i got it, female owned car. we all know female + car = crap in the end... my total including buying the car was under 6K and few weekends of spare time, and results looks was more than 6K, but this is because I did most the work myself and I have the resources behind me to do it, I have many people including the original owner that want to buy that car its crazy but the car is for My wifes first Mercedes, My Car is W221 and X164. so to answer your question for what I paid it WELL worth it, for a regular person maybe many not, it depends, I have seen many W205 in and out my shop and they have problems which I fail to understand for new cars, these days newer cars are just eye candy most not built tough like the predecessors...... Most people I know including myself will NOT go into car notes EVER... its not worth it paying monthly for a car that can be repo in a heartbeat if your fall short, all that investment is going if that happen.... Car Notes is Interest first then principal, this means you're paying back their percentage before you even start paying for the actual car value... No Thank You!!

With regard to financing, it really depends on credit and how much you can put down. I had a 1.99% APR and so it worked. 30K out the door for a 50K car. Nowadays you could get a C300 for around 25K with mileage not too high. I would not buy a used car now though. It's just stupid what is going on...

At just under 6k and factoring in sport body panels alone (if they were each bought cheaply, like $100) it still isnt worth it financially when there are plenty sport versions in much better condition for less than 5k.
I get modding out a vehicle, especially if you were going to change it to something very different, but these are pretty usual mods for the w204.
I'm not saying you did a bad job, but the core car to price is not the best move. If it was around 1-2k, it would make more sense.

Lower part of the center console
The plastic cover in the lower part of the center console, on my 2010 C300, is no longer attached properly - the right side of the plastic cover is showing a little gap. Asked the dealership if they could fix it and was informed that they didn't have the appropriate "glue" for the job. A second option given was to have the entire part to be replaced for the cost of U$1,200.00 - a freaking joke!
Any suggestions in how to properly fix it, is appreciated.

All of these trim pieces are easily removable and can be bought new if desired.
I'm not sure what the cause is.
1. It's possible water or liquid might have warped the right side.
2. It was removed and put back improperly breaking a clip.
Either way, you need to remove said piece to inspect. It's a walk in the park.
If it's warped or missing the clip, I'd go on eBay and buy a used one.
At most it would $50 for that piece.

I am having a problem with my TPMS display info, so it seems.
After driving for a few minutes, the only info from the TPMS displayed is "tire pressure monitor active". I cannot get the tire pressure numbers at all. This is the first time this has ever happened.
I have already tried to reset to the current pressure and the message on the display won't change. I have already started the car couple times and waited for a few minutes, drive the car to see if the system would reset, to no avail.
Have you experienced that before?

Hey @antiguangenius, do you have the model numbers or at least the links as to where I can buy the same headlight (and any necessary components) as well as the front bumper/DRL setup? I have a 2008 C300 as well and would love to do the same thing. Thanks!
