Where does this ORing go

I have received this oring with an order of oil filter gasket from the dealer. I replaced the gasket but couldn’t find a place for the oring. Appreciate any help

Engine Coolant Pipe O-Ring
It goes on the end of the pipe(as shown in the diagram) where it goes into the cylinder head.

Why is it so hard to find a video clip showing the replacement of this O-ring on the back of the engine M271 EVO c250 2012 Turbo. I tried to slide my hand but was impossible to move it at all. Do I need to remove any part to access the O.ring

We may be accidentally misleading you a bit.
That diagram JettaRed sent for the o-ring is probably not for your C250. That's for the 2003-2005 W203 1.8L Kompressor. Your 2012 should be almost identical to my 2013 if it's a car originally sold in the US. That's a different water pipe arrangement than is on our cars. That's also a generic o-ring used in a few different places. If it was delivered in an order for parts for the oil filter housing gasket, then I don't know exactly what it's for, because the diagrams don't show a separate o-ring.
I know it's in a tight spot, but it possible to get a picture of where you're trying to work and post it?

Here is the location of this O-ring from the EPC. It’s for an M271 EVO but it may or may not apply to your particular vehicle.

This is the gasket which I have replaced on my car. I could see only the parts on the inside of the blue line. I can also see partial of part 70. Do you think the O-ring is part 73 on the image and whether part 70 is one piece and can be removed only with one bolt 76? Is hose 26 coolant or oil?

Thanks for the pics. I went out to my car and looked to see what I could from the top.
I believe you have it correct. The o-ring is #73. I also think hose #26 is coolant, but not positive. If you don’t have an existing coolant leak, and have not removed bolt #76, thereby not disturbing the o-ring, I suggest putting it back together. If you must, the o-ring #73 “should” come out of the engine in the ring groove of part #70, which I believe is a plastic pipe, held in place by bolt#76.

alynch, thanks, and please chime in if you have any further insight.

This is the exact gasket and attachments I have on my car but I could not see the section of part # 70 that is outside of the blue line in the image below because it is located behind the engine and it is very tight
