w204 bi xenon headlight stuck
Ive found in thread off other sites for w211 and other models but nothing on this happening to a w204. I have no codes with a basic scanner, maybe need to get a star diagnostics is needed to fix this.
let me know what you guys think
(yes this is the duck headlight that was replace by insurance.... just great)

How do you feel about removing the bumper and warming up the headlight with a blow heater then remove the perspex outer clear cover to expose the problem?
As I see it is is worth a look inside as it may be fixable otherwise get a used replacement.
I'm pretty handy but god anything electrical puts my confidence to a -5 lol. is there a way i can just turn the bulb back to centre??? I don't care to have the adaptive headlamps. My wife drive the car and maybe drives a handful of times in the night. Used head lights are well over $1000 Ive looked...

I worked out the p/n required and ended up buying a used one from Japan, which is still in the car 5 years later with no problems at all.
The reason from japan was they are R/H drive and price was very good as was freight.
On your old headlight maybe underneath there will be the p/n decal you will need this to start looking.

I used this company to purchase it and send it to New Zealand

is there a way to make it go back to the straight position for now?
that site is great but gosh is translating a pain lol

I know the $1000 scanners can, but at that price the dealer star tool would be the cheaper option.
someones selling a Foxwell nt510 elite it shows a headlight option on the screen but don't have information on what it can do.
please let me know if your scanners can calibrate headlamps, thanks
Sorry i couldn't get a real fix for this, but im glad i saved $1500 not buying a new headlight unit. Rock auto has the housing for $1200 shipped, junk yards want $1250 plus tax.
