Belt Length to bypass AC?

accessories look same location (general)
w203 uses 94.5" long belt
they suggest 91-92.5 length to bypass A/C
so removing 2-3.5" length will let you bypass A/C?
my 2014 w204 stock belt is 87". (Or 2210 mm). So I should look for 83.5 to 85" belt?

If I bypass the AC, No Squealing noise. Is that OK?
