Hi I have had this problem for over a year , It first started by me going into limp mode on the motorway not getting over 50mph , I pulled over and restarted the car and it was fine , took it to Mercedes’ specialist , got it scanned and he said my turbocharger pressure sensor might be faulty , I just replaced it , I also replaced the change over valve , I took it for a test drive and it felt like it was better then normal I could hear the air being pushed out after putting my foot down but then again today , feels sluggish to pull off and over revs before changing gears
I have also did a slight check on the turbo itself and the propeller seems fine on it , no engine lights , no codes , any ideas would be helpful at all

I'm unfamiliar with your engine, but have considerable experience with 4 cylinder turbo engines. As @alecmascot said, you should not hear air being push out. It could be a ruptured pipe or a loose one that has blown off the intake. If you can't find the problem, take it to a shop that can do a smoke test.
