W204 C-Class Crankshaft Positioning Sensor Replacement
Can anyone help ?? I tried to disconnected the wiring from the sensor but the clip wont separate. Since you cant see it visually I have no idea how to disconnect it from the crankshaft positioning sensor. I spent 45min and could not get it to separate. Getting to this is a major pain in the ***.

I tried all day and failed to get the harness to release
I wasted the whole day trying to get that stupid harness clip to release and never got it. I even got the screw out but something was over the top of that area and couldn't pull o the long sensor out. I tried to squeeze and pull and nothing.

Thanks for posting the video but Ive seen that one. In the video at 1:05 it says just disconnect the harness but it does not tell you how?? there is some kind of release mechanism and I cant figure it out, I spent all day yesterday pulling and squeezing and never got it off

They can be frustrating because they use more than one type of connector on the engine. Many Mercedes electrical connectors have a tiny slide on one side or the top that moves back to allow it to unlock. The slide holds down the actual locking tab. It only moves back and forth 3-4 mm. It can usually be moved with a fingernail. Maybe that’s what yours has.
