2010 C300 Sport
EBD, ABS, ESC Warning/Power Steering Malfunction
Hi. I'm trying to repair my 2010 C300 sport and require a little guidance. At present, I am seeing the EBD, ABS and ESC dash error followed by the Power Steering Malfunction and inop Cruise Control. Ran the codes and see: 6000, 7208, 5945, 7266 and 5001.
Likely the problem is with the ABS control unit. However, the code 6000 (Low Voltage to the ABS control unit) has me concerned. The car starts just fine. Could I simply have a battery fault? I don't think the scan tool I have would provide wheel speed sensor readings.
The brake light switch seems to be operating just fine as it turns on the brake light.
Please let me know your thoughts in diagnosing. I'm thinking: 1. Have battery load tested to see if it's working as expected. 2. Use an Ohm Meter at each wheel speed sensor to see if any are wildly different. 3. Send the ABS Control Unit out for a rebuild.
Thoughts?

I like your planning... but to get additional odds you want to use a good scanner Launch cReader Mb $150.
If your current scanner shows ABS/ESP: that where wheel speed info is collected.
These great cars have multiple ways to create a low voltage... it's a bit like oil leak, as soon as you fix one, you get another one when the pressure escapes from another weak place. To fix that you address the root cause: blow-by!
For low-voltage, it's all about resistance and current. MB need special attention for GND connections. Specially those GND involved with ECU and SAM

2. ABS, ESC, PS, cruise all have one thing in common — wheel speeds. Follow @CaliBenzDriver recommendations and get a scanner that can see real time data. Look for either a bad sensor or a bad reluctor ring.

this way or the other....
1. Bad ground connections will drive you and the systems in the car crazy.

I understand not everyone likes computers but here is rhe best way to look at it:
An MB scanner allows you to read what the computers have to say. Awesome technology is built such that it gets exponentially worse when ignored

I get the same error on my dash once in a while but car will run fine. My temp fix is this. Eventually comes back. Something here is losing contact in my case.

--> Ouch
Go ahead help yourself and stop doing that
Car electronics is not like cable-TV or Microsoft Windows PC.
While it is possible to unplug anything you got hold of: DON'T DO THAT!
Please buy an MB China SCANNER
