I have an 09 c300 that shakes terribly only when accelerating, I had this problem before and it turned out to be the carrier bearing, I changed it and the rubber housing the bearing sits in and the flex discs and it was fine for a while, car ended up getting water damage and sat for 8 months until I figured out how to fix it, now that its up and running again I have these terrible shakes, any ideas?I did not mark the drive shafts and possibly put them in wrong orientation, so maybe they are out of balance? The shaking used to only happen between 60-70mph not before or after, now it happens at any speed when accelerating. Please help, I'm already 4k in repairs on this 10k car. I also have new tires in the back that are cheap amazon tires, thought maybe they were out of balance and that was the problem but I think it's shaking too violently for that to be the problem.

Engine mounts?

I haven't checked motor mounts yet, I was told the car would shake in neutral if it was the motor mounts.

1-- Single tranny mount.
It's responsible for aligning the prop shaft with carrier bearing + rear diff input flange.

2-- Tires develop a flat spot from sitting too long.... 8mo will do it.

You're right, engine idle would vibrate on loose mounts.

You can bet all the original rubbers are soft by now including the differential bushings. This helps promote misalignment that may cause vibrations.

Any vibrations when parked in neutral and the engine revving?

As soon as you let off the gas the vibration stops?

Gone under the car for close inspection of the drive shaft, axles?

no vibration in park or neutral, havent got under it to look yet, ill have to pull off all the plastic skid plates and drop the exhaust, so im not in a huge hurry to do that
