Ambitious idea transmission upgrade
I have a c200 kompressor that I have an ambitious idea and want to know wht ppl if possible.
has anyone try to upgrade the 5 speed auto transmission to something more efficient like a 7 speed?

You might be able to REPLACE the 5G with a 7G, but I've not heard of it. You should look at this thread:

Maybe doable, but lots of electronic issues. The 7G has sensor outputs that the 5G doesn’t have, so maybe needing new ME software, seeing if the existing ECU can handle it, maybe even new wiring harness, and maybe new compatible instrument cluster to display gears 6-7. Need to get those issues sorted out before moving forward.

With all the possible incompatibility issues between the 7G gearbox and all the other ECUs/Nodes in the car I say you'd be better off to buy a new car with the 7G+ gearbox.
I mean lets be honest . . . . what could possibly go wrong!
(Unless you're doing ALL the work yourself and working on Murphys Law with the possibility of everything that can go wrong doing so, with your love of gambling and are a true sadist.)

K32 (Active Lane Change Assist): This is the standard "tap-to-pass" system that most of us with the Driver Assistance Package (DAP) have. It is Driver-Initiated. You tap the stalk, the car checks, the car moves. It will not move back on its own.

2019 Mercedes-Benz C300
I dug around a bit to see if anyone has actually tried this 5-speed to 7-speed swap on a C200 Kompressor. Short answer; I couldn't find a single person who has done it. Looks like you might be venturing into uncharted territory here and I would love to know how it goes.....All the very best
