Good luck. The red and blue fluids have different viscosities and different slip/stick characteristics. That may solve the problem. Let everyone here know the results. You’ve attracted attention from the technical assistance side of this site and are in good hands.

If the problem persists, there are a lot of things that can be done. The rudimentary learning on solenoid fill times that the 722.9 transmission does makes it very “fixable” without having to tear down the whole unit.

So I got curious, I understand MB wants to differentiate the two fluids but what creates the two fluids' distinct colour? Is it some sort of dye?

Just like adding an amber die to gasoline, the colors are to better distinguish the two fluids. (Gasoline is normally colorless. As a kid, I remember "white gas" was something special.)

I see I also heard they used gasoline to paralyze muscle before a surgery?

Avgas (aviation gasoline) comes in red and blue to distinguish the octane rating. Red = 80. Blue = 100. But gasoline for surgery — WOW!

Ya but it causes too much side affects and they stopped doing it I don't know what year it was popular. Worse is you can't move but patient still feel pain. It is clearly torture.

I reprogrammed the transmission. It changes the gears at good rpm but still has the hard shift from 2nd to 3rd. Ive noticed that on the highway it loses power and it feels like choking even i have my foot on the gas pedal. I can hear it on the engine and the rpm needle moves up and down. Well thats a sign of bad TC. Soon im gonna tear the whole unit down to check if the wrong oil have done any damage or contaminated oil or the solenoid valves ( gonna change the fliud as well) Feeling so dumb for making 100.000km with the red fluid without even asking or checking about what kind of tranny oil my car supports. thanks for helping everyone

Update Everyone. I teared it down and i cleaned the whole tranny from the red fluid. I cleaned the solenoid valves and i saw that they got really dirty from the metal shavings ( cleaned them with a magnet as shown on the mercedes tutorial). Changed the fluid to blue and everything works fine now. Thanks everyone for your help!!

Edit: TC was totally fine. It was all because the wrong fluid
