I recently installed one in my C350 2013 and it looks great but the UI is a nightmare. Plus there are lots of technical glitches.
1) Bluetooth constantly getting disconnected because the hotspot is turning on automatically for no reason
2) MB UI is distorted when you access it
3) Way too many operating systems - Android UI / Carlinkit UI / MB UI / Carplay UI make the whole thing cumbersome.
4) No access to factory settings within Carlinkit UI due to lack of password
Is there anyway to flash this to Linux only? I just read on the forum that the Linux only screens seem to be more plug and play
What has been your overall experience? I want to do this with my GL and GLK as well but so far not impressed

Messaged Carlinkit and they provided PW and instructions to fix

Mine supposedly came with a no reflection screen and I don't see a difference b/w this and the Linux screen I installed on my GLK and GL.
