The best deal on a C400 I have been able to get from the local MB dealer is $54,500 for a $58,255 MSRP, a mere 6%.

The C400s aren't sitting on dealer lots around here, they seem to be moving them out quickly. Dealers aren't very willing to go to double-digit discounts. The C450 is on the horizon...hmm...

Fletcher Jones. Ontario ca

I got c400 at least 10% off. I won't say how much but they are willing to work with you.
Look for Micheal Georgie sales rep.

Or manager Bryan Fitzpatrick

Easy deal. To the point and great experience. Very good service.

We took delivery today. I negotiated before driving car.

picked up my c400 today got about 10% off with 1.49% APR finance for 6 yrs after agreeing for pre paid maintenance. its a iridum silver with red interior and pretty loaded car...will post pictures in the gallery section tomorrow. Thanks to everyone for all the help and tips on this website. I didn't get 12% like everyone else but was happy with 10% on a car that was hard to find in my region.

Wow, 1.49 is great, especially or 6 years as I usually wouldn't think of going that long, but if the money is practically free, then why not. I assume that's through MBFS?

Damn, good discount. When I saw the sticker on the C300 I drove, I just knew this would start happening, I just had no idea so soon.

I thought the same thing. Particularly given that they are making them in the US. The discount is a game changer to in terms of making them far more competitive in the market.

Right now dealers are adding in $2000 in winter cash incentives.

Does anyone know when these incentives expire and if there will be anything that will replace them? I'd like to ideally get a c300 sometime in March and I'm curious on what to expect in terms of discounts.

Do dealers generally offer the same amount of discount off MSRP if you custom build a car?

ya i told them i wouldn't finance more than that since i had a good credit score..so they agreed for 1.74 initially for 6 years. but then when we were buying the car they said they are willing to do 1.49 if we purchased the prepaid maintenance which was offered at the same price as MB website.

Ah, nice. I got my loan at 1.75%. Really happy about that. It's so much cheaper to get a car right now. Not even because of even discounts or anything, but interest rates are so low. That "discount" alone is monumental. Makes purchasing via loan more enticing than in recent history.

Nobody should take less than 10% off. Thats what two dealers are offering around here without even asking.

WOW. 20% already! Sh**!

Looks like MBUSA freaked out when the initial batches were apparently slowly moving, thus fire sale comes at record pace even for them.

I don't know. I feel like they raised the msrp that high just to bring the car to higher status, but the actual cost to the dealers is much lower

Are you in southern cal?

If so can you hook it up with the dealership + salesman info?

Let me know please, thanks!

see my post above.. i was able to get over 10% off.. without much negotiation from FJ Ontario MB. Find Michaels or Bryans email on their website.

I"m sure they came come close, specially on C300's. As the OP said, he knew the manager so that should count for a few % points.

I tried Ontario fletcher jones and they wouldn't even come close to matching local dealers. Most they could do was 6k off. When I told them other dealers offered me 7500 off they said it was a great deal and I should take it... Guess they didn't want my business.

Second that. I purchased my C 400 from the same dealer. Got over 10 % discount, upper end of the discounts some people are getting (pm for further details).
Talk to Michael or Fabrizio.

I applied to get financing first and then negotiated price.

They are probably not going to give you best pricing without at least having some comfort you are serious.

Bring you in your pre-approved letter and talk to Michael Georgie.. I'm not sure if you were looking for 7500 on C400 or C300.. but its all relative on the price of the car. Agree on a price they can reduce on any C300 or C400 and pick the color.

Michael G knows we belong to the forum and I advised him I was going to spread the word out.

I could of saved another $1k.. if I wanted to be hard ***. But I'm leasing and I know this C400 will go back once the C63 comes out.

I didn't get to work with Michael. Ended up going to another dealer and they gave me more than 16% off msrp on a c300 without any pre-approval. Fletcher jones was real nice and u can tell they strive for customer service, but they weren't willing to work with me at all (only offered me 12% off msrp). Maybe I was working with the wrong rep.

I got $7500 off MSRP too and I am in SoCal. I know at least 2 MB dealers in SoCal who is willing to give this discount. It might go away once January hits.
Please PM me for dealership and advisor info.

Just putting this out in case anyone is looking to purchase. Post back if you got the same or better discount or not from this salesperson.

Gaaahhh!! I hate it when this happens to me. I could've gotten another 5%. My loss, your potential benefit, I guess.
I bought a C300 with a 14% discount from Addie Kwan in San Francisco Mercedes Benz today. She is great and the entire process was a pleasure. If you are in the Bay Area, she is the one to go to.
